There’s magic in the air at Woods Mill nature reserve, Henfield this August. Let your children enjoy a fun-packed outdoor activity day with Sussex Wildlife Trust.
Harry Potter Fans (aged 6-11 years) can learn how to use wood working tools to whittle their own magic wand to cast spells in the forest and forage for magic potion ingredients.
Or learn how to build a campfire and practice lighting it using a fire steel; once the kettle is boiled there will be hot chocolate to share around the fire circle. Be inspired by birds and insect sounds to make a musical instrument from natural materials. From bug hunting to bushcraft, there will be plenty to keep the children busy.
Places are available at Wild Woodies clubs on Tuesday 9th and 16th August from 9am – 4pm. Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult as the clubs are fully supervised by our trained and experienced staff. Booking is essential, for further information and costs please visit:
