It’s Fishnets and Feather Boas Time!

The ultimate Rock ’n’ Roll musical is heading to the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne as Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show returns to town, from Monday 19th – Saturday 24th September, to show us how to have a REAL party.

Seeing is believing with this sassy show and this latest tour features Steve Punt (Punt & Dennis) as The Narrator, S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole as Eddie/Dr Scott and Liam Tamne (The Voice) who will once again be donning the fishnets as Dr Frank N Furter.

For the uninitiated the Rocky Horror Show is a love letter musical to the B-Movies and Science Fiction of the 1950’s. It tells the tale of young love-birds Brad and Janet who get caught with a flat tyre in a terrible storm. Taking refuge in a nearby mansion, the home of Transvestite scientist Dr Frank N Furter, Brad and Janet are invited to meet the Dr Frank’s latest creation, Rocky!

Join Brad and Janet on an adventure they will never forget, with fun, frolics, frocks, and frivolity, bursting with timeless songs and outrageous outfits – with plenty of naughtiness thrown in this cult show is NOT for shrinking violets!

Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show was first performed on 19 June 1973 at the Royal Court Theatre and has become an iconic musical, having been performed worldwide for over 40 years in over 30 countries and translated into more than 20 languages. It was adapted to film in 1975 and most recently has been re-made for TV, starring the original Dr Frank N Furter Tim Curry as the Narrator and will be shown in the US at Halloween.

Directed by Christopher Luscombe, the Rocky Horror Show is a guaranteed party, which famously combines science-fiction, horror, comedy and music. Audience participation is encouraged, meaning of course, getting dressed in your most outrageous fancy dress. This musical extravaganza features all of its famous musical classics including: Science Fiction/Double Feature, Dammit Janet and of course The Time-Warp.
