As a Freelance Administration & Marketing Consultant I am lucky enough to meet and work with a wide range of small enterprises as well as private individuals. I love the diversity of my job and the fact that one day I can be producing an advert for a magazine and the next I can be creating a winning CV for a job seeker. Living by the sea in Felpham, West Sussex, I take every opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling, sailing, walking and windsurfing and where possible my car remains in the garage while I cycle to and from my clients.
I am looking forward to sharing business related tips and inspirational stories with your readers on a bi monthly basis. My recent collaboration with Julie Robinson at The Core Business Hub in Bognor Regis is proving to be a real bonus for both of us. New and existing clients are now benefitting from this centrally located work space which prides itself on supporting local businesses. I shall of course keep you posted regarding forthcoming business development initiatives that are scheduled to take place at the Core over the next few months.
In the meantime if you have a business success story that you would like to share with the Sussex Newspaper readers please do feel free to get in touch with me and I will do my best to include it.
Until next time……..
I am a mum of 2 small children a boy and a girl, 2 and a half and 7 months. I qualified as a chartered accountant in 2005 with a local high street firm. I then moved on to a large accountancy practice in Worthing where I worked as an audit manager.
I then decided to make a change and move into industry so I became the International Statutory Accountant at The Body Shop head office in Littlehampton. It was around this time that a friend who I had done all my studying with and I decided to start a practice of our own, Time Accounts.
Our aim was to be a different type of accountancy practice, friendly, modern, approachable and we have achieved that. We started in 2007 and now 7 years later there are 4 of us working for Time Accounts.
