Aspire Sussex Ltd has successfully bid to run adult education courses across the county.
It is the current provider of the contract which ends in August 2017.
The contract will run for an initial period of three years, starting on 1 September 2017, with an option to extend for a further period of up to four years.
In 2012 Aspire Sussex Ltd was created as an independent body to provide adult education for West Sussex residents. Previously it was a West Sussex County Council service.
Now Aspire runs the service on behalf of the County Council.
Robyn Kohler, Chief Executive Officer of Aspire Sussex said: ““We are pleased to have won the contract to run adult education courses for people who live and work in West Sussex. We look forward to continuing to work with the County Council to provide good quality adult education.”
Aspire, which is currently redesigning its website www.aspiresussex.org.uk, offers hundreds of courses right across the county, including functional skills, arts and crafts, languages, cookery, psychology, photography, dance and music.
Courses run during the day, in the evening, and there are Saturday workshops too.
