CTLA (Community Transport) are delighted to have been named as finalists in the Lewes District Business Awards 2016 in the category of Customer Service.
The winners will be announced at Lewes Town Hall on Thursday 14th July 2016.
Community Manager, Paula Woolven, said “I’m delighted that the staff and volunteers of CTLA have been recognised by the awards. One of our staff members recently received a ten-minute phone call from a bereaved client almost every day, whilst she adjusted and began to cope with life alone. Although the phone lines are always busy, our staff member took the time to speak to the client with compassion and care and never hurried the call, realising that repeatedly checking on her transport bookings was just a way of coping with her loss. CTLA makes people our priority and we are proud to be a ‘life-line’ in the District.”
