One hundred years since the birth of Frank Sinatra, Grammy-nominated Louis Hoover celebrates the life and music of the legend with, Sinatra 100 – The Centennial Gala World Tour at The Hawth on November 16th.
Star of the West End Smash Hit show “The Rat Pack” and Grammy nominated for his solo album And This Is Me, now Louis, along with his 17 piece orchestra, will bring an atmospheric spectacle reminiscent of Sinatra’s finest years.
Louis’ dream began at 17 when he found himself stunned and overwhelmed by Sinatra’s performance at the Royal Albert Hall. Leaving the auditorium he knew that he had a mountain to climb to fulfil his dream of one day singing Sinatra’s excellent songs.
28 years later, Louis has fulfilled this dream by performing in amazing venues worldwide including the Royal Albert Hall where, in 2012, he received a ten minute standing ovation for his thrilling Salute To Sinatra show.
“Louis brought back memories of great times I spent with Ol’ Blue Eyes. I’m sure if Frank had heard him sing he’d have said “hey great pipes kid!” – Sir Roger Moore
Louis is no impersonator of Frank Sinatra, he does not attempt to fool his audience through disguise. Louis uses Sinatra’s world famous songs, his smooth voice and his enchanting band to create an atmosphere that transports his audience to a time where swing and big band music reigned and Sinatra’s dreamy baritone soothed those missing their loved ones at war.
Sinatra 100 – The Centennial Gala World Tour appears at The Hawth Crawley on Monday 16th November at 7.30pm. Tickets priced at £26.50 (Discounts £24) can be purchased from The Hawth Box Office on 01293 553636 or by visiting www.hawth.co.uk.
