Dorothy-DeeAnn Woode, Executive chef of Africuline Signature, has extensive experience of some of the top restaurants and hotels like the Hilton in England.
Born and raised in Ghana, Dee began her training as a chef in Accra, the capital of Ghana. Since then her career has taken her to the Europe where she acquired a professional degree with the Hotel Catering International Management Association and a certificate in delivering learning.
Her skills has been recognised and gained her the opportunity to work alongside the NHS, schools, BEN SKY TV and local businesses on nutrition, community cohesion and business development programmes.
Besides working as a freelance chef, Dee is also a visiting chef tutor for secondary schools, offering African cookery as a global learning resource and a community health programme. Dorothy is also project managing a cookery school for disadvantaged girls in Ghana.
Outlining her approach to food that will be reflected in ‘Fresh Thinking’ Dee stresses that the taste, texture, presentation and nutritional composition of each dish is her main priority. She offers a personal commitment to quality, culinary creativity and a strong believer in food connecting people together.

Dorothy-DeeAnn Woode has a great passion for Healthy Eating; African Food Education and Agriculture & African Green Revolution Issues. A member of The Hotels Catering International Management Association. Dee is a mother of a lovely 12 year old girl, a keen swimmer and an ecstatic salsa dancer.
