The George sounds fab, I went to Rye for the first time in October and I loved it there. We looked at the George then, but actually stayed in a Yurt in Brede which is just up the road. Next time I go to Rye I will definitely eat in the George, I like the sound of their weekend events too. We ate in small cafe up near the church and it was dreadful!
