SEA LIFE Brighton may be closed to the public but the fish still need their expert care and attention! The aquarium’s care team have been posting live and pre-recorded videos on Facebook as they continue to look after their marine life charges. With so many families now staying indoors and schools closed, parents are looking for activities to fill their kids days that are both educational and most of all fun!
Senior Aquarist, Joe Williams is running the Q&A sessions as often as he can in and around the care routines for the creatures. Joe is one of the most experienced members of the SEA LIFE team, and will be on hand to answer audience’s questions on the 5,500 different species the aquarium homes. Joe says;
‘I’ll be posting live as much as I can to keep all SEA LIFE fans updated on our fishy family! Please come prepared with your creature questions and I’ll do my best to answer as many as possible!’
SEA LIFE Brighton hope to film creature feeds as well as run open Q&A’s in order to lift the spirits of those self-isolating or social distancing. The videos will also help audiences become better informed about marine life and conservation.
To join follow their Facebook page @SEA LIFE Brighton for announcements on their next live sessions and also to keep updated on the creatures’ daily feeding and grooming routines!
