Seaford in Bloom

In July 2013 in was agreed that the Town Council would negotiate an agreement to take responsibility for the town centre planting previously undertaken by the voluntary group, Seaford in Bloom who had been set up originally in 1992. The agreement was completed earlier this year and the Town Council now holds responsibility for the flower displays around the town centre.
The Town Council are very grateful to Seaford in Bloom for the work they have done over the past 22 years organising and monitoring the numerous flower displays for Seaford. Seaford in Bloom was chaired by Isabel Stephenson who in January 2014 received a British Empire Medal for her service to the community through Seaford in Bloom.
Special mention must also go to Europlants Ltd who have again provided the town with a wonderful selection of plants and flowers throughout the town centre.
Going forwards, the Town Council would like to invite interested parties to contact them on 01323 894870 or by email admin@seafordtowncouncil.gov.uk, with the aim of re-establishing a voluntary committee to enable Seaford in Bloom to continue to blossom for another year running, Seaford is in bloom!
