There’s an eggs-tra special programme of Easter-themed activities taking place at Hastings Blue Reef Aquarium over the Bank Holiday Weekend (March 25th-28th).
Follow a trail of hidden eggs around the aquarium and unscramble the mystery phrase to win a chocolate treat, plus every entrant will have the chance to win a child’s annual pass to Blue Reef.
There will be a series of fun activities taking place throughout the weekend including Easter-themed worksheets and quizzes.
A giant undersea mural has also been created in the aquarium’s café and younger visitors will have the chance to fill it with their own coloured Easter eggs and dive bunnies.
Blue Reef’s Leanna Lawson said: “After tracking down the hidden eggs and unscrambling the clues, the grown-ups can enjoy a well-earned cuppa and bite to eat in the café while the youngsters can add their own artistic creations to our underwater mural.
“As well as all the activities, visitors can also try spotting some of our shark and ray egg-cases around the displays and find out more about a selection of nautical nippers,” she added.
Enjoy incredibly close encounters with seahorses, tropical sharks, stingrays, giant octopus and hundreds of other incredible aquatic creatures.
Explore the dazzling beauty of a coral reef and journey through the spectacular tropical ocean display in a transparent underwater tunnel.
Over 40 living displays recreate amazing undersea habitats from local waters to exotic seas. Informative, entertaining talks and feeding displays throughout the day.
Don’t miss the giant tropical ocean display home to black tip reef sharks and the exotic reptiles and insects in the Jungle Room.
