Progress has got a lot to answer for! Not always for the best reasons as I hear different stories to make my hair curl. A hidden truth about a baby that had brain damage that didn’t survive the journey from Eastbourne to Hastings because the hospital at Eastbourne didn’t have the wherewithal that could have saved the baby. This story and report had been hushed up. The Tory controlled hospital management won’t listen to common sense and this has been proved over and over again where mothers have had their babies delivered on the road.
Performing in the Dark!
Health and Safety has gone to pot in more ways than one. It seems that the Eastbourne Borough Council decided not to repair an electrical fault at Eastbourne Bandstand during the daylight hours when they knew that a group were going to perform that Monday evening which culminated that over 70 people having to exit the premises in the dark. The audience being mostly the older generation, some with disabilities were struggling to find a safe path from the venue. Yet the Bandstand Bar where one could obtain an alcoholic drink was lit up like a Christmas tree – very suspicious! It was later seen that the lights were blazing at the Bandstand for the rest of the week’s performances and there were no lighting faults reported.
Are We Christians or Not?
Obviously I don’t believe in people gaining entrance into the United Kingdom illegally, yet when you think about the plight of these different races, who have no country, no homes, no food, nor can safely drink water without being bombarded with all sorts of diseases – it makes you think how lucky we are in England that we don’t have anarchy to that extent that wants to make your own countrymen bent on self destruction, believing it to be the right course to take to be rid of unseen enemies.
The BBC launched a Christian Service for these people and it showed that some of these so-called enemies of England are Christians and believe in the God as we do. I pity the English cynics for not having a welcoming heart. “What would they do if confronted with the same problems as these people have every day of their lives?”
The Sea Shall Have Them
Those properties that were built twenty miles away from the coast line are now in danger of being swept out to sea because of high tides that are systematically corroding the high cliffs. It is reported that in the next twenty years up to 800 homes will be lost in this fashion and it is also reported that no compensation will be paid out to home owners by the Councils that govern each of the Counties. They would rather spend their budget money from the Government on trivial “White Elephants” and to take an example: Brighton rather spend over £46,000,000 FORTY SIX MILLION POUNDS on a tower contraption (that will carry holiday makers up so they will be able to see the PARKING METERS EASILY and the IMPOSSIBLE PARKING PROBLEMS that BRIGHTON RESIDENTS have to face on a day to day basis). Coming back down to earth, maybe the exorbitant cost will pay in time for a structure that will in years to come be swept out to sea.
