West Sussex County Council has launched a social media campaign to showcase the variety of services it provides for residents.
The #WestSussexMatters campaign will see infographics being posted on Twitter and Facebook over the next 50 days.
Each post will highlight work carried out in West Sussex involving:
- Highways and Transport;
- Education and Learning;
- Waste;
- Fire and Rescue;
- Economy and grant funding;
- Trading Standards;
- Care and Well-being; and
- Children and Families.
West Sussex County Council’s Leader, Louise Goldsmith, said: “Our staff work tirelessly throughout the year delivering services to over 800,000 residents in West Sussex.
“They work hard to ensure residents feel supported when they need us.
“We wanted to shine a light on this work, and give people some idea of the scale of what the County Council does, every single day.”
