ABBAMANIA are widely regarded as one of Europe’s premier ABBA tribute bands and their sensational live concerts have taken them all over the world. Now they come, for a one-off performance, to Eastbourne’s Royal Hippodrome Theatre on Saturday 3rd October at 8.00pm.
ABBAMANIA’s tribute to ABBA, at the height of their popularity, is incredible, of the highest quality and is a wonderful tribute to ABBA’s live concerts that fans throughout the world were enthralled with back in the 1970’s.
After winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974, ABBA earned immense international popularity by featuring catchy song hooks, thoughtful lyrics and a wall of sound and they used those melodies and lyrics to create hit after hit that would sell millions of records worldwide.
The four members of Abbamania are Ewa Scott – Born in Poland, a classically trained vocalist who has entertained across the globe. Ewa graduated from the Polish Academy of Music after studying piano and violin for 6 years followed by a further 5 years of classical vocal training, under the watchful eye of renowned vocal coach Wanda Kaluzna.
Sharon Fehlberg – Born into showbusiness, Sharon Fehlberg’s mother sung lead vocals for 70’s hit pop group “Middle Of The Road” and with music in her blood Sharon has been singing since she was a child. With a strong drama background, having trained at a young age with Pace Theatre company, Sharon then went onto write her first album at the tender age of 16.
Steven Galert – A musical virtuoso and multi-instrumentalist, Steven has worked for some of the top recording artistes such as, Don Williams, PJ Proby, Tony Christie, The Drifters and The Christians.
Adam Robertson – Adam is a multi-instrumentalist whose early beginnings in music started with learning the piano at the age of 10 years old. He studied piano along with brass throughout his school days and managed two foreign tours in Italy and Spain before leaving school.
