Community arts group Seaford Musical Theatre Juniors (SMTJ) have been picked to take part in a UK wide youth film-making project – See It : Make It commissioned by the Into Film organisation.
Into Film gives children and young people aged 5 to 19 in the UK the chance to experience film creatively and critically as part of a rich and well-rounded education, whilst also learning skills they can use to build a career in the film industry.
SMTJ members will be working with David Parker from Brighton based Figment Arts to produce a short film that will be premiered iin the summer through partnership with the Seaford Community Cinema, based at the Barn Theatre, Seaford.
The project runs from April to June 2016 and is funded by the National Lottery and BFI Film Forever scheme.
