Charity Ball

Sussex Wildlife Trust is delighted to be holding their first ever Charity Ball next month (17 September) to help raise funds that will protect the beautiful landscapes and wild places of Sussex.  By protecting habitats throughout the county, wildlife will thrive and in some cases species with dwindling numbers such as dormice and hedgehogs will be given a new lease of life.

Called the Wilderness Wonder Ball, guests will be welcomed to a luxury marquee set in the grounds of the spectacular Folkington Manor Private Estate, nestled in the heart of the South Downs National Park between Lewes and Eastbourne.  Following a drinks reception on arrival, there will be an outstanding three course meal designed to showcase sustainable locally sourced food followed by a raffle, a live and a silent auction.

A special star act appearance by Bjorn Again will provide the highlight of the evening as they perform the greatest hits of ABBA to encourage everyone to their feet to dance into the small hours rounding off a spectacular evening.

The Wilderness Wonder Ball is expected to attract over 400 people from Sussex business, local celebrities and people with a love of all things wild interested in helping to promote the wonderfully rich wildlife found in our towns, countryside and coast.  For further details of ticket prices, transport links on the night or how to donate a raffle or auction prize please email: anneweinhold@sussexwt.org.uk or  call Anne on 01273 497522.  Booking via: www.sussexwildlifetrust.org.uk/wildernesswonder
