The Seaford Volunteer Emergency Team

The Seaford Volunteer Emergency Team has now set up its contact number which will operate 8am-8pm (details below). This is a community run group of volunteers working to co-ordinate and offer support to those affected by the Coronavirus in Seaford.

They will try to support all of those who cannot get out for simple things like shopping, collection of medication, urgent supplies etc.

They know that many residents are already helping neighbours for which we are all extremely grateful. For those who are not so fortunate they encourage you to ask or pass on the details of the Seaford Volunteer Emergency Team for help – this includes anyone self- isolating for any reason. They understand that many may do this as a precaution for the good of others and may feel it is difficult to justify asking for support, however it is really encouraged that you do! This is why they have set up this group to aid people in acting responsibly and staying at home.

As they develop they hope to provide a social chat service ‘Listening Ear’ linking isolated residents with a friendly voice.

Please help to pass this on. There will also be cards dropped through letter boxes over the next week to reach those not on the internet.

we are both high risk and used your service back in March 2020.

Are you able to help this time with shopping?
