Three Phantoms starring Matthew Cammelle, Stephen John Davis, Glyn Kerslake & Rebecca Caine
“Possibly the best gala evening of musical theatre you are ever likely to see.” The Public Reviews
Three Phantoms has already performed to well over 30,000 people since 2011 and has been critically-acclaimed by the public and media alike. Matthew Cammelle, Stephen John Davis and Glyn Kerslake will perform and host an evening that celebrates what has become the world’s most successful entertainment phenomenon, the story of The Phantom of the Opera. The evening also features songs from other musicals including Les Misérables, West Side Story, Spamalot, Kiss Me Kate, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Rock Of Ages and Wicked, to name but a few.
Musical theatre fans – and especially Phantom ‘Phans’- are in for a real treat as they can expect some unique backstage insights and anecdotes from Matthew’s, Stephen’s and Glyn’s time as The Phantom. The trio will also be singing songs from various other adaptations of the story that inspired Andrew Lloyd Webber to write his incredibly evocative score.
Matthew Cammelle’s professional debut was as Brad in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, followed by the part of Marius in Les Misérables in the West End. As well as the role of The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera he has appeared in Follies, South Pacific, Beauty and the Beast and the international tour of Mamma Mia, to name but a few.
Stephen John Davis has performed numerous roles in The Phantom of the Opera. His other musical theatre credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar and South Pacific. For D’Oyly Carte Opera Company he has appeared in HMS Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance and HMS Pinafore.
Glyn Kerslake Glyn Kerslake’s theatre credits include Merrily We Roll Along, With a Song in My Heart, The Odd Couple, The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, Martin Guerre, Les Misérables, Sunset Boulevard, Miss Saigon, Treasure Island, and The Sound of Music to name but a few.
No Phantom would be complete without his Christine and Three Phantoms is no exception, as they are joined by international musical and opera star Rebecca Caine. Amongst her many accolades she originated the role of Cosette in the Cameron Mackintosh and RSC production of Les Misérables and then joined the original cast of The Phantom of the Opera to play Christine and in the Canadian premiere of The Phantom of the Opera alongside Colm Wilkinson.
What makes Three Phantoms such a success is a commitment to an evening of top West End standard, which is why in addition to the West End talent, the performers will be joined by the masterful accompaniment of Anthony Gabriele, former Music Director of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre and on the UK touring production, as well as Annette Yeo.
