New Mayor of Seaford, Cllr Dave Argent, will be at Driftwood on Sunday 21st June along with new local MP, Maria Caulfield, to launch the 4th annual garden, trail single handedly planned and executed by Geoff Stonebanks and sponsored once again by Steve and Sava from Pomegranate.
BBC SE Today’s Natalie Graham will be on hand to cut the ribbon at Driftwood at 11am to set the ball rolling.
CTLA have generously arranged a free hourly courtesy bus for all residents to get to the 9 private gardens with ease if they don’t have their own transport. The timetable will be in each garden and is available along with all the other details on the trail website www.mayorsopengarden.co.uk.
First bus leaves Marine Parade (opposite Salts Recreation Ground) for Driftwood for the opening ceremony at 1030.
There are 9 very different gardens to view and teas and light lunches available along the way! A grand raffle to win £100 gardening vouchers or £50 to spend in Pomegranate is up for grabs too, not forgetting the bottle of bubbly! Cost to see all 9 gardens is just £6 payable in the first garden visited. All details at www.mayorsopengarden.co.uk or call 01323 89929
