The Haven’s Mayors and the President of the Lions Club were delighted to meet the Phantom at a one night fundraiser for essential repairs at the Barn Theatre, Seaford, this weekend.
They were welcomed to the venue by the Barn Theatre President, Olivia Breeze, best known for her performance as Janet in ‘On The Buses’, the hit sitcom of the early 1970’s.
Sparkling performances from Hayden Cheyne (who played the Phantom at Her Majesty’s Theatre), Gemma Clare, Jenny Humphries, Kate Horscraft and music hall veteran, Graham Tubb delighted the audience, along with thrilling performances by dancers from the Norcross Dance Centre and solo performances by members of multi-award winning SMTJ, culminating in a fairytale finale that was loved by all – from the youngest to the ‘young at heart’.
Over £500 was raised towards electrical works for the community venue and Director, Paula Woolven, thanked the cast, crew and audience for their generosity and support.
