Arun District Council Local Land Charges scoop another award!

Arun District Council’s Local Land Charges service has been recognised at the eleventh Land Data Local Land Charges Awards 2018.

The national awards highlight and celebrate the achievements of local authority land charges departments, which carry out the land and property searches required for conveyancing transactions in England and Wales.
The winners were announced on Monday, 5 March at the awards ceremony held at the Bristol Marriot Royal Hotel.

Solicitors and licensed conveyancers from all around the country are asked to nominate and provide feedback on the Local Authority Local Land Charges team that they believe is consistently committed to delivering a high level of customer service. Nominators consider quality, efficiency, reliability and value for money.

This is the second year in a row that Arun District Council has won the Customer Satisfaction Award for Local Authority Searches! A first-time winner in the 2017 Local Land Charges Awards and highly commended in 2016 and 2017 in the Best Customer Experience category, the team also held third place in the Most Improved NLIS Services Award in 2008. In addition to this, Arun’s Local Land Charges Officer Daniel Carman was highly commended for Local Land Charges Officer of the Year in 2017.

The standard of entries was again very high this year and it’s great to see the dedication to customer service, effective collaboration across departments and a strong commitment to fast electronic service delivery increasing every year.”
