CTLA (Community Transport) charity have been awarded a grant from the Cabinet Office Local Sustainability Fund for organisations working in the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.
The funds will enable CTLA to implement organisational change and access professional advice, including establishing strong volunteering relationships with local businesses, and improve a wide range of skills and support.
Derek Barnett, General Manager of CTLA said; “We are delighted to have been successful in our bid to the LSF. This will enable us to do considerably more work to ensure the services we offer are relevant and sustainable in the long term. I believe our strong partnerships and community links to local authorities and community groups was one of the reasons we were selected and with these funds we can develop these further for the benefit of the communities we serve”
The grants have been awarded to charities that demonstrate a high impact in and vital support to communities, especially to vulnerable or disadvantaged residents.
