Community transport charity, CTLA, has been named as finalists in two categories of the Lewes District Business Awards 2015 in recognition of making a significant contribution in improving the social participation of, and accessibility for people in the community, especially those who may be disabled, vulnerable, isolated or lonely.
Twelve awards will be made at the award ceremony on Thursday 9th July at Pelham House, Lewes. It will be hosted by BBC reporter, Tim Willcox, and attended by over 150 of the District’s leading business people. CTLA are finalists in the Access All Areas and Award for Social Enterprise categories.
The only community transport charity of its kind in the Haven’s area and Lewes District, CTLA provides door to door dial-a-ride services, transport for community groups and youth organisations, scheduled rural services and a popular travel club, with trips operating on most days.
