Dogs Trust Shoreham to hold its annual Open Day and Fun Dog Show on Sunday 25th May 2014

Dogs and dog lovers are in for a real treat on Sunday, 25th May 2014, as Dogs Trust Shoreham Rehoming Centre hosts this year’s Open Day and Fun Dog Show – a popular event which always raises pounds for homeless hounds.

Taking place at the charity’s rehoming centre on Brighton Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, visitors are encouraged to join in the activities which include ‘Have a Go Agility’ and a ‘Dog Dash’ for the fastest dog. The ever popular Fun Dog Show will be also taking place with prizes for such accolades as “Best Biscuit Catcher” and “Waggiest Tail. Other highlights include, a demonstration from Sussex Police Dogs, a bouncy castle and childrens’ rides, charity and trade stalls, a grand raffle and tombola, refreshments and much, much more.

Visitors will also be invited for a “Behind the scenes” look at the rehoming centre to meet some of the rescue dogs currently looking for homes.Organiser and Dogs Trust Shoreham Supporter Relations Officer, Naomi Tucker, comments: “We are very excited about this year’s Open Day and Fun Dog Show and we really can promise a great day out for all the family, whether they have two legs or four.  There will be all sorts of activities to keep you occupied and amused so please come along and support Dogs Trust Shoreham.”

Gates will open at 11.30am until 4pm.  Entrance to the event is £1 for adults. Dogs, children and OAPs are free.
