Dogs Trust Shoreham is continuing to offer their free service of community engagement talks to adult group meetings situated anywhere in East and West Sussex.
The presentations cover the history of Dogs Trust, how staff at the Shoreham Rehoming Centre care for up to 400 dogs each year and includes details about some of the national campaigns that the UK’s largest dog welfare charity works on, such as puppy smuggling and their Home from Home fostering scheme.
Supporter Relations Officers Pia and Lisa also organise ‘behind the scenes’ tours of the rehoming centre.
Pia said:
“The presentations are vital opportunities to spread the word about what Dogs Trust does and they encourage community engagement throughout the county.”
Lisa added:
“Each talk can be tailored to the needs of the group and is both entertaining and informative, with lots of videos and photos of our furry friends.”
Bookings are available on weekdays and evenings with the potential of weekend bookings too. If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group please email Pia & Lisa on pia.offord@dogstrust.org.uk and lisa.herbert@dogstrust.org.uk or call them on 01273 466 971.
