Welcome, October!
I thought it was time we gave your tummy a little love. Fuelling you and your body with some natural vitamin c to keep your immunity healthy and high for the Winter months ahead.
Here is one of my favourite smoothie recipes to boost your body and bring inner vitality.
Berry Delicious Smoothie
Here’s what you need:
Handful of blueberries
Handful of raspberries
250ml nut milk of choice or water
1/2 tbs baobab powder (optional)
1 dollop of coconut yoghurt (optional) you can add a banana here to create the creamy texture or half an avocado
Whizz it all together in a blender and voila you have a berry delicious smoothie.
Sprinkle with love
For that extra calming experience sprinkle some rosebuds on top and star anise for some autumnal spice.
Whizz it all together in a blender and voila…drink…slurp…purr until your tummy and heart’s content.
Another option is to add some acai powder and make it into a beautiful smoothie bowl and add some sprinkles of oats, homemade granola (contains less sugar, my lovelies) and I love to add a dollop of peanut butter (palm oil free of course) or tahini.
Let your soul fuel the way…
Walnuts, Sunflower seeds and Cocoa Nibs are all great options to sprinkle on top of your smoothies or acai bowls and offer great sources of fibre to this liquid brekkie.
See you in November where I will be sharing the first in a 2 part series on mindfulness and movement and asking the question can mindfulness improve the way we move?
