I am amazed at the bravado of the young and some of the middle aged of the United Kingdom, who think this is some sort of game when their kin and friends are dying around them from this terrible disease and I just wonder what does it take for the six inches of skin that must be attached around their brains to carry on defying the guidelines that the Government has given to the public to follow which in itself is a simple thing to do, although some I think do not realise that they are putting others in danger by their selfish actions. They seem to think along the lines that life doesn’t matter which I consider their acts are of a selfish nature.
This is similar to war, and in this case, an unseen enemy that somehow we all must fight as best we can. Not with a rifle, a bayonet or anything like solid materials we can lay our hands on. This has to be a scientific and medical solution to the problem and by following the guidelines that have been set out will help to keep us all alive if we stay at home.
Some of you state you are frightened. So am I. We all are! I wonder if the people who are still gathering together are frightened or somehow feel that an act of God or a miracle will save them.
Boris Johnson has done the right thing and has taken advice from the World Health Organisation and our own medical experts. Some particularly, those in the shadows of Parliament state he has acted too late, but as he stated in the many broadcasts he has made – this pandemic had to be timed to perfection to get the results that are needed to get rid of this accursed disease – SO STAY AT HOME – it will go a long way in saving lives which is part of the cure!
