Let the Political Party Without Sin Cast the First Stone!

We have all witnessed the political parties that have broken all Ten Commandments and apart from attempted murder, most political members have escaped a prison sentence and it just makes you wonder whether there are two sets of LAW – one for Members of Parliament and one for Joe Public.  Most of us would go to prison for perjury, fraud, stealing, but it seems that there is a code between us and them that allows them to get away with all things illegal.  No wonder there’s a queue to become a Member of Parliament.  I’m not stating that everyone of them has tendencies to commit illegal acts, just that the guilty ones get caught, but that doesn’t seem to matter because no action will be taken.  It is usually a slap on the wrist and the powers that are stating “Don’t get caught again!”

Our Government tend to go to great lengths to persuade the populace to vote to stay in the EU and doesn’t that make you wonder why?  There has to be something that Members of Parliament get, probably a rake off from the financial pot that we the TAX PAYERS have put in for them to enjoy the life style they have obviously been accustomed to since we joined. I can’t see any benefits relating to Joe Public, can you?  The money we pay in each week is exorbitant which could be used to improve Hospitals, Charitable Organisations, Doctors, Transport, State of the Roads and other vital services that local councils have not been able to fulfil as they have been forced by the Government to make stringent cuts in their services which are non-existent as the state of the roads are a good example to be going on with. Making a circle round a hole does not reach the safety standards by a long chalk, a short chalk or a circle of chalk. The ESCC have failed miserably to solve public safety measures on our roads and in fact they are the fifth worst local Council according to their head office in London.

In Eastbourne and the surrounding district there are potholes galore and the M.P’s governing this town talk of safety.  This was one of their prime targets as I remember the manifesto that was shown to get the Tories voted in.  But still,  isn’t it always the same?  Empty promises are soon forgotten and tucked away in a bottom drawer somewhere in a room that nobody goes into again.
