Local housebuilder Barratt Homes has teamed up with Eastbourne-based gr/eat Greek cuisine to deliver a series of festive cookery classes this December. The classes will be sponsored by Barratt Southern Counties and filmed in the four-bedroom Radleigh show home kitchen at the housebuilder’s Meadowburne Place development in Lower Willingdon.
A total of six recipes will be shared throughout December, with gr/eat Greek cuisine sharing the cookery demonstrations through social media (@greatgreekcuisine on Facebook and Instagram). The recipes will be demonstrated by father and son duo Vasilis Athanasiadis (43) and Stelios (10), and include marinated olives with Greek pita bread, a beetroot mousse, festive salad, filo wrapped feta with honey, stuffed whole chicken and rakomelo (a type of mulled grappa).

Barratt Homes launched its Meadowburne Place development this autumn, with the show homes unveiled last month. The Radleigh show home is a spacious four-bedroom detached family home, with a large open-plan kitchen and dining area. Currently available is a collection of two and three-bedroom homes, with prices starting from £254,995 for a two-bedroom semi-detached home.
