One never expects to get a service for nothing and I am honest enough to pay my dues, but now Companies are joining the bandwagon of scamming innocent persons, so where do you stand? The Company that I speak of is ITBA with a email address of gpswadhwa@gmail.com. Surprisingly this email is false in one respect and the person who calls himself Mike is not part of the team of the real company at ITBA or is he using a synonym to get extra pocket money, one never knows!
This person will tell you that your wifi has been breeched and they will provide a service by protecting you from hackers. Giving you two options: 1. One year’s service for £149.99 or option 2: 3 years service for £249.99. A second person in the Scam team will invade your computer and place nasty things deep within your machine and to make it more convincing the payment will go through PAYPAL.
Probably the amount of untruths to Paypal will convince them that this company is bona fide and the poor unsuspecting customers will be denied a refund.
There is no such thing as honour between customers and sellers when the middle men in the form of Paypal staff are on the sellers side and answering their questions that have no bearing on your question is omitted from their list of reasons why you are requiring their help. There is no question such as: If a seller fraudulently obtains money through misrepresentation we can help you get a refund which I find is an oversight by Paypal.
You can look at their listing, but you won’t find it. It appears that they sit on the inquiry for three days and then send back an answer denying that there has been no misrepresentation even though you can prove that you have had no service from the seller. Taking the word of a seller is not much use to a prospective buyer if the service he was supposed to have received appeared to be invisible to the naked eye.
I would like to point out to future customers on the Internet, just beware of a Company under the name of ITBA – ruthless scammers that should be blacklisted that use the auspices of customers paying through Paypal to give it authenticity!
Unfortunately this will make prospective buyers wary of sellers on the internet that use the auspices of Amazon, Ebay and Paypal to sell their products and like any barrel of apples, you always find a bad apple. The trouble is you eat most of the apple before you get to the nasty bit!
The above is just my opinion and anyone who wants to write to me care of the newspaper regarding the content – please do so! Swear words are not accepted.
