Tui McLean is a British journalist. She was educated at The Cheltenham Ladies’ College in Gloucestershire. She had a year off to go travelling before studying French and Spanish at the University of Exeter in Devon. During her time at University she wrote a regular column for The Exeter Express and Echo, chronicling her student days. After graduating, she originally followed a career in news reporting and moved to Spain to begin work for the Barcelona Reporter, where she was translating, collating news and staying on top of breaking stories. This kick-started a passion for journalism and her work eventually broadened to the Health and Beauty sectors. She has lived in London, Barcelona and Paris where she worked as a Columnist and Editor, for a variety of print and online magazines over the years such as Health Henley, Hip and Healthy, Recognise Magazine, and Forbes Style.
She is passionate about healthy living, languages, good food, culture, books and sports. In her free time she can be found with her nose in a good novel, at the theatre, absorbed in cooking, or training for her next triathlon. That is, if you can find her…she might have country hopped again before you know it.
