Parents and guardians of little ones take note – favourite CBeebies presenter and star of Let’s Play, Sid Sloane, is coming to Eastbourne this October with his a family-friendly adventure, Sid’s Show at the Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne on Sunday 20 October at 2pm
This bright, vibrant show is the perfect introduction to live entertainment for little ones. Packed with songs, games and plenty of surprises along the way it’s sure to be an adventure to remember. The Devonshire Park is an ideal environment for smaller children and it’s a delightful and non-intimidating space for children who may not be familiar with a theatre.
Sid’s Show’ is an interactive production for three to seven year olds. The adventure, which includes a knitting planet and a fluffy puppet dog, proves that Sid is never far away from a joke and a laugh! During the show, Sid will often let his imagination go, using a box as a plane or as a sports car or talking to a knitting alien and he hopes that the audience will really enjoy the show, and he wants to hear them laughing and clapping all the way through, with everyone joining in with well known songs including “If You’re Happy and You Know It” and “1,2,3,4,5…..”
Sid has a problem, he’s lost his favourite shoes and socks and the show sees him travel far and wide to find out where they have gone. He adventures to the bottom of the ocean, deep jungle and even outer space! Promising an array of funny characters, plenty of surprises and lots of games, songs and magic guaranteed to get children involved, the show is sure to put a smile on little faces.
Described as a cheerful, upbeat and interactive show performed by an equally upbeat and cheerfully infectious performer, Sid is sure to engage with audience members of all ages. Sid explains how the idea for Sid’s Show came about, saying, “The inspiration for Sid’s Show was mainly because I love theatre so I thought it would be a really good idea to present my show to all the young people who have been watching me on TV.”
