Simon Kirby MP takes the Sport Relief parliamentary step up challenge

Simon Kirby, Member of Parliament for Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven, took the Sport Relief 2016 Parliamentary Step Up Challenge recently on Speaker’s Green at Westminster.

The event was organised by Sainsbury’s, one of the official partners of Sport Relief, and challenged MPs to use a step machine and to see how far they could walk up Big Ben in 3 minutes.

Simon clocked up an impressive 355 steps, beating many of his Parliamentary colleagues.

Speaking about the event, Simon said, “I was pleased to take part in the Parliamentary Step Up Challenge to raise awareness of the great work Sport Relief does.”
