Seaford Town Council is pleased to announce that it has awarded small grants totalling £4,550.00 to a wide range of voluntary organisations and community groups who benefit the town’s residents. These grants have been awarded to the following:
The grants were awarded to fund a variety of purposes including carrying out vital works to buildings and sites, the provision of workshops, meetings and events, replacing necessary equipment and in some cases to enable the organisation to continue to provide its service to the town of Seaford.
The Mayor of Seaford, Councillor Lindsay Freeman, says “I am pleased to see what a wide variety of community groups and voluntary organisations are represented here. Seaford is a lovely place to live and these grants go towards helping create our community. The hard work and dedication of these organisations and the volunteers who work with them have enriched life in Seaford. My thanks to all those organisations and may they keep up the good work!”.
A separate press release will be made in due course with regards to the larger financial grants that were awarded.
The Council would like to thank these organisations for their continued hard work and contribution to the Town; it is thrilled to be able to assist and support these organisations where possible.
The next grants process will commence in April 2017. If you would like your organisation to be included on our register then please email Lucy Clark, Support Services Manager; lucy.clark@seafordtowncouncil.gov.uk (All previous applicants will be automatically registered).
