An East Grinstead business is offering three small Sussex charities a full website audit to help the sector that has been so badly hit by COVID-19.
SSBM Ltd., which specialises in small business marketing, is asking small charities to apply on its website for the chance to receive a full audit. This contains a full report whose results include how the website scores for basic SEO (search engine optimisation), user experience, readability and more. The report shows any barriers that a website user may experience in processing tasks, such as making a donation or signing up to volunteer. The report includes recommendations for making changes or fixing any issues.
Alice Watkyn, Managing Director at SSBM Ltd. said “Having worked with a number of charities, I follow quite a few on social media. It’s heart-breaking to see how badly they’ve been hit by cancelling all their fundraising events this summer.”
SSBM Ltd. are asking charities to fill in a simple form at https://www.ssbm-online.co.uk/website-audit-for-charities/. “The three recipients will be chosen totally at random”, said Watkyn. “It would be impossible to say that one charity was more deserving than another. The in-depth audit is the best possible service we can offer them. It’s like having a marketing consultant in for a week.” Prices for a full website audit normally start at £200.
Applications must be received by 5pm on 15th July.
