Children from across Sussex performed brilliantly in front of a public audience and had a fun time on Saturday 12th April at the KalliKids family fun day in Jubilee Square, Brighton.
Toddlers and teenagers alike demonstrated their skill with very impressive performances of yoga, Bollywood dance, Flamenco dance, singing and musical movement for the little ones.
The stalls at the day represented children’s activities and services recommended by parents and accredited by KalliKids. The stalls provided arts and crafts, face painting quiz games, pottery painting, bag colouring and many other things for children to do. The weather was good and many Mums and Dads sat down for a while in the spring sunshine as their children enjoyed themselves.
Karen from KalliKids who organised the family day said “It was a really fun day and we are delighted with how much the children enjoyed themselves. We are also absolutely amazed at some of the children’s brilliant performances. The singers of Vocademy School were very confident and sang one by one to the public. The Bollywood dancers of Art of Dance School were absolutely beautiful and you could see they were enjoying themselves. The Flamenco dancers, the yoga students and the toddlers dancing and singing were all fantastic. All in all it was a lovely start to spring.”
Proud parents whose children performed on the day can see videos of the event at http://KalliKids.com/Jubilee as the videos will be added this week.
