The Sussex Newspaper is 10 years old today!  Today we are celebrating a decade of providing unrivaled coverage of news and events in Sussex County.

When we first began publishing the Sussex Newspaper, we were using the Joomla platform instead of WordPress,  Tony Blair was the Prime Minister, Ipad’s hadn’t been invented and Kilroy was the most popular talk show on TV.  Since then we have covered the start of new corporations,  the demise of established brands and the birth of new technologies.  And all of that has been with the support of our loyal army of readers.

“The idea was to create a publication that avoided the media’s melanie-200x300obsession with doom and gloom.  Instead we wanted to provide balanced, impartial and accurate coverage of events in Sussex County. We wanted to serve the people of Sussex by giving them a trusted and respected source of local news.

“A lot of people said the paper simply wouldn’t work.  But ten years down the line and we’re still here growing stronger every day.   On behalf of the team at The Sussex Newspaper,  I would like to thank all of our readers for their support over the years.  We couldn’t have done it without you.  Here’s to the next years.”
