Take a magical history tour

Explore the historic splendour of Edes House, Chichester, by joining one of a number of planned tours taking place in 2014.

The 90-minute tours will take visitors on a journey through time, as they discover more about life in Sussex and find out how changes in society were reflected in the domestic architecture at the end of the 17th Century.

They will also discover more about the history of Edes House itself, which was built in 1696 for local maltster John Edes and his wife Hannah.

The next tour will be held on Sunday, February 2, with another scheduled for Sunday, April 27. Doors open at 1.30pm, with the tour starting at 2pm. Tickets cost £9.95 per person and include light refreshments on arrival.
