The 7 day wellbeing challenge

Happy September my lovely!

This is one of my favourite months as I feel it is a month of transition. You start to feel the air changing temperature and nature beginning to shed and change its form preparing itself for the Autumn.

So this month I wanted to share with you 7 days of wellbeing wonders to keep you feeling amazing throughout this month of transition. Each day comes with its own affirmation too, the best way to enjoy an affirmation is to repeat it at varying points throughout the day – bringing you and your body and mind into a state of awareness for the present moment.

What you’ll need:

  • A diary with daily entries either paper or online
  • Your phone

The 7-day wellbeing challenge – 7 steps to the amazing you 

Monday – “Successful people both ask for help and help themselves by being true to their desires.” Attend a fitness class and book 2-3 more for the week ahead, #IAMFIT

Tuesday – Go for a 15-minute walk outside and notice one new thing about the surroundings #iampeaceful

Wednesday – Read a motivating article or watch an inspiring Ted Talk and then reflect on how it helped you with a springboard sentence as I was reading/watching I noticed… #iamsuccessful

Thursday – Set aside 5 minutes for relaxation today, use a guided meditation or spot meditation #iamlove

Friday – Practise conscious breathing – inhale for 5 counts and exhale for 10. Do this for 3 minutes then go on with your day #iamworthy

Saturday – Try something new today; be it food, drink, a creative class, or fitness activity #iamadventurous

Sunday – Talk with a friend and ask what was great about their week, be kind and listen to the reply just noticing what it is you love about them #iamkind
