Running from Monday, October 24th to Monday, October 31st visitors to both Smugglers Adventure and Hastings Blue Reef Aquarium will be able to join in ghostly goings-on and spooky trails.
Blue Reef are running a spot the Halloween pumpkin trail around the displays and youngsters are also invited to come in their own frightful fancy dress outfits to join in the fiendish fun.
Scuttle along in to the aquarium’s Jungle Discovery room to enjoy close encounters with a host of creepy crawlies including millipedes, beetles and a tarantula.
For the even more courageous there will be daily handling sessions at 1pm and 3pm where you can stroke a snake or befriend a bearded dragon with certificates for children who accept the challenge.
There will also be a spooky sea monster colouring competition for younger visitors, with prizes for the scariest design.
Meanwhile Smugglers Adventure are organising their own ghostly quiz trail around the eerie caves for younger visitors.
See if you can spot the 10 bats hidden around the caves and have you got the brains to solve the horrible Halloween quiz. There will also be a spooky colouring station and plenty of Halloween-themed goodies available.
