As from May this year I will be walking the coast of Britain to raise awareness and funds for the superb work of the selfless drug educator Peter Dwan. You will be able to follow and participate – digitally at least – in my adventure through this column in your favourite local newspaper. You can find out more about my walk of over 4000 miles here.
With the launch of my walk just a few weeks away and approaching fast, I am putting in as much preparation for it as I can muster – mainly a heck of as lot of walking.
The following videos and pics are from my training walk of Friday 27th March 2015 and Saturday 28th March. As being able to take pics and make short video reports using my iPad will be a key feature of the project, then training involves not just lots and lots of walking with a fully loaded backpack but also getting used to taking pictures and making video clips – then of course loading them up to the internet. Here are some of the results from today’s effort.
